The R stands for Rally, and RaceFace has made this stem to go on bikes that get ridden hard. Designed to keep weight down while keeping stiffness and strength up, the stem is beautifully machined with laser etched logos and doesn’t have any sharp edges or exposed bolts to bang your knees on. The zero degree rise makes it easier to set your bar height with the use of stem spacers and the 35mm clamp allows for the use of larger diameter bars.
